AOWM is the continental organization for women in mathematics in Asia and Oceania
Brief History
In 2021, the Committee for Women in Mathematics held a meeting of its ambassadors from the Asian and Oceanian countries, where it was resolved to form AOWM. The foundational meeting of AOWM was held in 2022. AOWM’s inaugural conference was conducted at ICTS, Bangalore, during April 24-28, 2023.
AOWM x IPMU Workshop 2026
The third AOWM workshop will be held from 5th to 6th March 2026 at Kavli Institute of the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe, Japan.
Submit an article to the volume Ganita of La Mathematica. Submission Deadline: 30 September, 2025.
