AOWM is the continental organization for women in mathematics in Asia and Oceania
Brief History
In 2021, the Committee for Women in Mathematics held a meeting of its ambassadors from the Asian and Oceanian countries, where it was resolved to form AOWM. The foundational meeting of AOWM was held in 2022. AOWM’s inaugural conference was conducted at ICTS, Bangalore, during April 24-28, 2023.
AOWM Workshop 2024
The second Asian-Oceanic Women in Mathematics (AOWM) Workshop was held 6th to 9th December 2024 at the University of Auckland.
The Annual Conference of IWM during July 10-12, 2025 will be held at IIT Patna.
Logo Competition
AOWM announces a prize of USD100 for the winner of its logo design competition. The names of the winners have been announced.
